Loulabelle's Garden

There's something truly magical about stepping into a garden. For many, like myself, it becomes a sanctuary, a place where the hustle and bustle of everyday life fades away.

The gentle hum of bees and the flutter of native insects create a symphony that reminds me of the beauty of nature and how incredibly amazing flowers really are. It’s in these moments that I can truly connect with the earth and find grounding.

Growing flowers from seed is a rewarding experience that brings myself immense joy. Every tiny seed carries the potential of beautiful blooms and tending to them as they grow then design with them is a natural process I've grown to love. Which is why I'm both a florist and now a grower!

Early mornings spent in my micro flower garden, with the sun just beginning to rise, offers a serene atmosphere that is hard to replicate. It's meditative for me.
My garden isn’t anything extravagant at the moment. But it’s been enough for me to care for solely over the last two seasons and I hope to slowly increase the beds. For autumn sowing I have madame butterfly snapdragons, cosmos and celosia.

I also think these days it's extremely important to know where my flowers are coming from. Understanding this more as a grower and florist is really important to me. The floristry industry is really changing at the moment. There is a movement for sustainability and less usage of micro plastics and cardboard.

My vision is to continue the movement to support local flower growers and local florists that have a more sustainable way of trade. I'm not your traditional florist.
